Kaivar Lancer wrote: In low sec, it used to be that everyone would fly cheap, throw-away T1 ships, so if they got blapped, it won't hurt the wallet. Nowadays I seem to run into faction and T2 ships all the time. Is there an actual pattern here?...

Pre-planned gang/fleet brawls always end the same way... one side shows up with double whatever was promised and the other guys get lossmails.

6. T3 Cruiser Hunter/Killer - in Warfare & Tactics [original thread]
@Corail Amber Nice fit and good write up. I like the general idea of what you're proposing. I don't think the absence of an Expanded launcher is that big a loss. T3's in WH's are going to be in sites. There's no other reason for them to be there,...

9. FW small ship meta? - in Warfare & Tactics [original thread]
T1'd out frigs are great. Perfectly suited to FW and, best part, pretty much any of them will do the job well for any race. Amarr frigs may struggle with cap issues, but ancillary armor repairers are the solution to that for active tanking frigs. ...

10. Low Sp Race choice - in Warfare & Tactics [original thread]
For PvP, anything works. I'd simply recommend you avoid Gallente because significant drone training is required to get the most out of the Gallente boats. More importantly, its not so much the race choice as it is the weapon system choice. Hybrid...

11. T3 Cruiser Hunter/Killer - in Warfare & Tactics [original thread]
interesting question. If you're looking for an all in one T3-killer, then you need a ship that can deeps hard, goes fast and can probe by itself. That's a lot to ask for in a single ship. Another thing to keep in mind is that T3's solo running si...

I applaud anyone that wants to try their hand at null so quickly. In null, you rate in static sites. If the alliance your chosen corp is a part of is worth its salt, there will likely be 1 or more systems with high military rating. The sites can g...

I'll also add: You should be webbing targets you're engaging with missiles. The double-scram/disruptor setup is not what you want to do when flying missile boats in PvP. The web will make a huge difference in terms of damage application.

Rocket frigates are pretty beast right now, so there's not a ton that an auto-cannon/blaster fit frigate can do to them. I personally find the long-point, kiting Kestrel to be the better/more dangerous fit for 1v1. If you think the Kestrel is scar...
